The original archery range was deep in the forest. In the 1990s that area was flooded for a few seasons. Over time, the structures in the forest deteriorated and mosquitoes were a problem. The range was permanently moved to the edge of the big field, behind the backstop. Shelters were temporary and the storage for equipment was inadequate. The brothers of Brooksville Bible Chapel sponsored the construction of a shelter with storage. Much of the work was done by Charlie Widboom (and Ralph).
